Bun Bao

Asian Burgers.

At times when everything was about burgers and old wooden walls this fresh Asian concept of a bouzi burger came along.

Like the food, the interior is flashy and focused. Super colorful light boxes are hanging from the ceiling. Everything else is dipped in neutral gray color. This way the light boxes illuminate and color the gray surfaces.

Putting light boxes, which are meant to be outside and clearly communicating services or other messages on the inside and removing their basic message by pixelating the content provokes abstract feelings of somethings strange.

PIXELATED

45 Light boxes, placed all over the dining area of the restaurant. All graphics were specially designed and then pixelated, so the only person knows whats behind the pixels is me.

LIGHTBOUNCE

The restrooms downstairs are as the dining room completely cover in neutral grey color, and the secondary effect of the light-boxes upstairs is put here center stage and extreme.
